Christmas Workshops 2008
Hello to all my creative Ladies,
Welcome to our Workshop Newsletter and the Craft Class Schedule for 2008. I am really looking forward to our line-up of Christmas Workshops this year in anticipation if it being our best selection ever. We have sneaked 2 extra classes in this year and these are fabulous.
Your favourites are back, the ever popular ‘Go Crackers with Trish’, ‘Christmas Wreath’ and ‘Christmas Gift Box’ (previously Hat Box) but also a couple of additions to the repertoire including ‘Heartfelt’. This has been inspired by my Australian Lady, Gabriella. When I spied this I knew it would have to be added to my repertoire. Be sure to check this one out, it is stunning. The ‘Glamour Christmas Gifts’ class is another winner. We have retained our famous Rose Pen by popular request, but added 2 new options – more about that later.
There will be many opportunities to experiment with new product, some gorgeous stamps and scrapbooking charms in the new ‘Card Creations’ class and more sumptuous velvet flowers in our ‘Heartfelt’ workshop. Most classes have evening sessions available and some Saturdays wherever possible. We do our very best to cater to everyone’s preferred time but I am sure you understand this is not always possible.
DISCOUNTS - We are happy to offer a 10% discount on multiple workshops, these must be booked and paid for together, as a thank you from us. We also love introducing new class members so if you bring someone along who has never attended a Primrose Cottage Workshop before we will have a little gift for you to say thanks. Please let us know when booking the class if you a coming with a new member. CLASS PAYMENTS TO BE MADE AT TIME OF BOOKING.
We accept phone bookings with credit card payments or of course you are welcome to come to the store in person to book and view the class samples at your leisure. REMEMBER!!!! All workshop fees are inclusive of all materials. NO HIDDEN COSTS. Any extras we will tell you about. Every year our classes fill quickly so don’t delay, call a friend or 2 and come along together or come along and make a new friend or 2. How about a group of work colleagues getting together and having your own exclusive class? A really fun way to relax and wind down after a busy week. I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE you will not be disappointed. Our classes are full of fun and laughter and I will ensure that you leave with a project to be proud of.
CARD CREATIONS
In this busy e-mail driven world we now live in, what a delight it is to receive a beautiful card made and written by hand. Come along and have some fun creating cards for all your gift giving occasions from small gift tags and labels right through to New Baby, Birthday, Christmas and more. Experiment with scrapbooking papers, stamps, embellishments and lots more. Learn how quick and easy it can be to create your own unique cards for every occasion. Class duration is 2 hours. |

HEARTFELT

In this new class we bring you a deliciously gorgeous heart made using a variety of velvet flowers. Various crafting techniques will be used in this class including stamping and antique brushing for the background canvas. A choice of colourways is available – cream/pink or cream/apricot or red/deep burgundy. All are stunning so I am pleased the choice will be yours!!! Please indicate colour choice when booking. Class samples will be in store to view. Class duration is 2 hours.

WREATH

Create a stunning Christmas Wreath for you front door or mantle piece. Beginning with a 50cm plush faux pine wreath you will learn bow tying techniques that will transform an already sumptuous wreath into a masterpiece. Our most popular class is back for those who need a refresher and those who want to know how to make the most beautiful crackers you have ever seen!!!! Both an informational class and hands on making, you will learn how Crackers are for every gift occasion and not just Christmas. We examine every gift occasion and talk about including the BEST gifts ever!!!! Learn how to personalize your Crackers for every member of the family. Create wonderful bows using our stunning range of wired ribbons and much more. This is the jewel in the crown of workshops and NOT TO BE MISSED. SWAG

This successful class is again on our list this year due to the response from last year. Measuring 1.5 metres in length this swag truly is stunning even before any embellishments are added. Due to the length of the swag we are limited to number of class members so we limit this class to 4 each time. Working with cream silk Magnolias, beaded fruit, French Wired Ribbon, Cherubs and more you will create a masterpiece for your wall, table centre or mantle. Class duration is 2 hours. |

WRAP + RIBBON
Do you ever despair at the thought of Gift Wrapping, or tying a pretty bow? No More! In this workshop we will examine the many, types of ribbon available and the different ways they can be used to bring a touch of style to any celebration throughout the year. Not just for gift wrap but card making, on Christmas stockings and much more. As you know at Primrose Cottage we pride ourselves on our instore gift wrapping and these little tips and tricks we pass on to YOU! A simple bow with a tiny flower tied in to the centre, small charms added to a baby gift in with the ribbon and much more. As well as looking at the different ways gifts can be wrapped using inexpensive but stylish materials. Tissue and cellophane for example. Both informational and hands-on this class is another Winner!!!! Duration 1½ hours

CHRISTMAS BOX
 |
2 years ago we held a very successful Hat Box class. Due to the unavailability of the hat boxes we have changed the shape of the box but re-introduced the class. This time we are working with a large square recycled box with a paint finish. Due to the drying time involved, the box will be prepared ahead of time. We will be working with 1 colour way – a deep Christmas green. Decorated on top in class with many, many choices from our Christmas componentry range, I guarantee every box will leave unique and entirely YOUR design. A perfect box to store those precious Christmas decorations through the year. When the decorations are on the tree, the box sits beautifully under the tree looking like a beautifully wrapped box waiting to be opened. With a few new decorations inside, it would be a lovely gift idea for someone spending their first Christmas in a new home. Class duration is 1½ hours. |
